David DeShazo, Bass/Vocals
David was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma but has lived in Dallas since 1993. He started playing bass at the age of 8. You can see him perform live in and around the DFW area with several different bands and hear his bass playing on a number of Texas country records including recent releases by James Lann (Honkytonk Kung-Fu), Jason Cassidy (Keep It Country), John Slaughter (Ghost Town), Jamie Richards (All About The Music), Jon Wolfe (It All Happened In A Honkytonk), Heather Little (Wings Like These) and an upcoming album from Curb recording artist Rachel Holder.
Alex Hahn, Drums/Backing Vocals
Alex was born in Chicago, Illinois and started playing drums at the age of 8. He attended the University of North Texas and received a BAAS in Music with a minor in Sociology in 1996. Alex has been active in the Dallas-Ft Worth music scene for many years, performing with the area’s top Original, Top 40, Jazz and Country artists, as well as an active recording schedule (commercial/demo/record) for many of the major studios in North Texas. In fact, Alex is featured on a couple of cuts from Don Henley’s album, “Cass County.”
Alex has also maintained a busy teaching schedule for over 12 years with some students going on to study music at the University of Michigan, Berklee School of Music and the University of North Texas.
Dane Petersen, Keyboard/Vocals
Dane was born in Omaha, Nebraska; grew up in Waukesha Wisconsin and moved to the Dallas area in 1992 after completing his studies in Commercial Music at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois. In 1999 he received his Masters in Jazz Studies at the University of North Texas.
Dane started singing publicly at age 4 and began piano at age 7. Professionally, he has been playing/singing for over 20 years and keeps an active schedule performing in the DFW area for various Top 40 bands, country artists/bands, doing studio work at home; writing original material and freelancing in graphic/web design.
